Description

Learning the truth about who murdered his family—and being forced to his knees and made to beg before the woman who knew all along—breaks something fundamental inside Caelum Cadere. He lashes out violently against Calista, the spy planted in his household, nearly losing himself to rage and the Form of Dread. Only the intervention of Daria and Thalara pulls him back from becoming the monster he fights against. This arc explores the cost of truth, the seductive pull of vengeance, and whether a young lord consumed by fury can be saved from himself.

Caelum is summoned to the Night Dancer, tense and uncertain about what awaits him there.

Truths That Burn

The devastating revelations hit: Vixia knew who killed his family, was part of the cult that did it, and Echoe forces him to his knees and makes him beg for mercy.

A Gathering Storm

Rather than processing his trauma, Caelum moves with terrible purpose to gather Daria and Thalara, preparing to commit violence.

The Lord's Wrath

Caelum attacks Calista without warning, the Form of Dread manifesting as silver flames and strangling vines while rage consumes him.

Friends in the Dark

Friends intervene to stop him from further violence; through painful conversation, shame finally breaks through the rage and Caelum begins to pull back from the edge.
